My Name is Eric Wilson, I’m a political technologist driving digital transformation and innovation. For more than a decade, I’ve been helping Republicans use technology to win elections. I was digital director for Senator Marco Rubio’s 2016 Presidential campaign, Ed Gillespie’s 2014 Senate and 2017 Governor campaigns, and many others. I’ve even worked on elections in Australia with the Liberal and National Parties.
Now, I’m building a networked platform to sustain advancements in political innovation. Here on EricJWilson.com I collect my writing from other sites and clips from media coverage where I’m often called upon to explain trends in online campaigning.
Here’s an overview of my current projects:
Startup Caucus
Startup Caucus is an accelerator and investment fund for Republican campaign technology. Launched in 2019, we’ve invested $150,000 in six companies supporting more than 170 campaigns and political organizations in 25 states.
We’re always on the lookout for founders and startups building products to help candidates get elected. In addition to investment, we provide training, advice, and a powerful network to reach potential customers. We can also help with ideation if you’re an entrepreneur or technologist eager to break into the political marketplace. Click here to learn more at StartupCaucus.com and to get in touch.
Best Practice Digital
At BestPracticeDigital.com, I write a weekly article with actionable tips, tricks, and strategies for Republican campaigners – candidates, staff, and volunteers – to help them win online. You’ll also find courses on email fundraising and social media designed specifically for political campaigners.
The BPD community is a group of inquisitive, engaged politicos working to stay at the cutting edge of their craft. I can help businesses introduce themselves to this hard-to-reach audience through content partnerships – click here to get in touch.
